At the time I came up with the idea for “The Couch” interview series I was in the middle of studying psychology. I have always had a facisnation with how people function in their relationships with each other. How they are changed by their life experiences and what I can learn by asking those questions and listening to someone tell me their life story. In this book “The Examined Life” Stephen Grosz, a practising Psychoanalyst, documents some of his sessions with his patients.
