Taking stock, make stock!

I have let my health slide for the last month or more. There really is no other way to say it. While I have been recovering from a road accident which really shook me up and caused me to reconsider a lot, it also left me with rotten back pain and taking lots of pain relief as a result. Looking back on this time I also let things slide. I was comforting myself with food that feels good for a minute but ultimately does me no real good at all. I had to stop running too (Dr’s orders) but maybe I could have walked a lot more. Sometimes these pauses in life where you need to “take stock” should also be the times you “make stock” and feed yourself the foods that will help you to actually get better. So a new start for me today and I’m kicking it off with a nutribullet of coconut water, oranges, fresh ginger, lime & lemon juice, grapes, strawberries, blueberries & raw wild honey.
