Today I’m going to fill you all in on an exciting new product to the market that I have just started to use lately and it is the Superstar Night Oil from Irish skincare company Pestle & Mortar. 

I’m a huge fan of their Pure Hyaluronic Serum, literally a game changer, and they have a delicious moisturiser ‘Hydrate’. I’ll go into more detail on these products in future blog posts but for now let’s focus on this gem. 

So.. There comes a point in a girls life where your skin needs more tlc than it did before – for me it was around the 31 mark. My usual, cleanse, tone (for me always with cold water), moisturise (day & night creams) and of course SPF was no longer cutting it and I needed extra help! 

Superstar Night Oil is recommended for use from age 30 onwards and it is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin as it is non irritating! It’s ‘superstar’ ingredient is two different types of Retinol formulated with a unique booster technique designed to get to work while you are sleeping reducing pore size, fine lines, and evening out skin tone and texture! Sounds dreamy!

The RRP is €76 for 30ml and Superstar should only be applied at night time after cleansing & toning – Apply a half pump of the oil to your face avoiding the lip & eye area so a little goes a long way! 

You can apply another product over Superstar if you wish but it is recommended you wait a least half an hour! I have just been using the oil, no night cream afterwards, and it seems to be enough so far! 

Time will tell if there is any real change to my skin but definitely so far so good. It feels so nice on application, my skin drinks it up and I just know I’m doing myself good by applying this beautiful combination of oils to my face!
