Ah, the joys of a simple biker jacket. It’s likely we all have one in our wardrobe.

I happen to have six (I just counted). Some tattered and faded in colour but sometimes they’re the

best! The reason I have more than one is because they’re just a fail-proof way for me to feel good.

It’s such a simple way to ‘roughen up’ a print or a floral dress, when you still want to feel feminine

but with a hint of rock star. It’s also happens to be *the best outfit* for Irish weather, pretty much all year round.

Even as I get older, I still find I keep coming back to this kind of outfit. My most worn biker jacket is

the black one and my wild card is the silver one – it’s a little bit different and always gets a

compliment. I pull out the red one when I want to feel sexy and cool.

A lot of my biker jackets even have some fond memories attached to them at this stage (they’re pretty indestructible).

I’m most likely to pair this combo with black tights and a chunky pair of boots, but a pair of heels

works lovely too.

As I was taking these photos I fell in love with some of my old outfits again! I encourage you to do the same – root for some old dresses and your favourite leather look jacket and I guarantee you’ll come up with a new favourite outfit!
