Hi, I’m Clare Tracy. Originally from Meath, I left the busy corporate marketing world in Dublin 10 years ago and moved to Galway with Tony and our daughter Saoirse. Since then our family has expanded to include Mia, Fionn and Kaspar the dog. While I was at home when the children were small, I ran a successful food business for a few years. I work as a marketing consultant now, but I also love being an editor and contributor on The Couch. I try to take the time to live well and this is something we all share at The Couch.
Hi I’m Garry Kelly. I am a first-time daddy of a little girl who already has her father wrapped around her tiny finger. I’m also an entrepreneur and set-up my most recent company, GK Media, in 2013 offering services in online digital content and training in the areas of Film, TV, Radio, and Social Media. I studied Film & TV in GMIT and graduated in 2001 with a distinction where I then founded DIG Productions Ltd. with David Hegarty & Ian W. Davis. Over the years we’ve produced short films, documentaries, music videos & a feature film with the Irish Film Board. I have also worked in both national and local radio as a Producer/Presenter since 2007, and I’m fully qualified with the Teaching Council of Ireland to teach Film & TV and Radio & Sound Production. I love dogs, watching movies, reading non-fiction, drinking vino, and listening to Napolean Hill and Earl Nightingale. I embrace life with all my heart and surround myself with positive forward thinking people. That is why I am so happy to be a team member of The Couch. Everyone here is just amazing and I hope we can help you meet your goals and make some amazing discoveries along the way. I’m primarily over the Podcast section of the website, so feel free to get in touch if there’s anyone you would like to hear Yvonne interview. I’ll also be giving you some tips on social media and digital content, so I look forward to interacting with you.
Hi my name is Julia Puchovska, I am a photographer and blogger living in Galway. Love, Joules is my personal outlet where I write about clean eating & wellbeing, clothes I like to wear and pretty places I visit.
When I’m not blogging, I work as a freelance photographer and videographer at Wonderfulife Productions with my partner Kenny. We also run a monthly short film screening in Galway called the Little Cinema. It’s a platform for young film-makers and film-lovers to show their work, network and have a fun night out.
I grew up in Slovakia and chose to move to Ireland by myself when I was 19, so my blog mirrors my continued love affair with the beautiful places that country has to offer. I love the term ‘world citizen’ and the idea that there isn’t just one place where we can feel at home.
As an adult I’ve developed eczema and as a result, I now live on a low allergen diet and use natural products where possible. I enjoy coming up with tasty, gluten & dairy free recipes and sharing practical tips on self-care and ideas on how to make healthy living fun.
I am lover of fashion, nature, stationery and coffee. Guardian and servant to two adopted cats.
When it comes to personal style, I love high street but I also get a huge thrill from unique charity shop finds and supporting creative Irish designers and brands!

Hi, I’m Deirdre Cunningham, a qualified nutritional therapist and devoted runner, married to James and mother to Ally, Ryan, Jamie, Robyn and Molly. It is my mission in life to help as many people as possible to feel and look their best through advice on diet and nutrition (both 1:1 consultancy work and group sessions). I firmly believe that for diet and nutritional advice to work it has to be personal, with built in balance and flexibility. There are no quick fixes and fad diets don’t work! Instead, I educate people to make simple changes and offer techniques to make this transition to health not only possible, but enjoyable. I incorporate an exercise regime and some motivational tips to enhance a healthy lifestyle. Nutritional therapy is beneficial for weight management, digestive issues, blood sugar control, hormonal imbalances, low energy, fertility and more.
Hi I’m Grainne Bass. I am a married mum of two adult children both of whom have flown the coop. I grew up in Sutton on the north side of Dublin, close to beaches and the sound of fog horns and seagulls. I moved to Dunboyne on the Meath border with my husband and children about 18 years ago and have been fortunate to spend a lot of time in Galway over the course of the last 4 years. I am a qualified interior designer and I am currently working on a commercial project which involves the total refurbishment from office space to five star restaurant. This is a really wonderful project for me as it combines two of my great passions. Design and food (if only music was involved I’d be in heaven). Yvonne asked me would I be interested in contributing to ‘The Couch’ from a foodie perspective. I am not a qualified chef but have an enormous interest and passion for all things food related. I have catered for sophisticated dinner parties, weddings, communions, and friends of course. I bake and decorate bespoke (and crazy) cakes. I love to use seasonal produce and enhance flavour with herbs, stock and spices. I will be offering tips, recipes, and basic techniques. Food is fun!!!

My work has been published in all the top magazines here and I have featured numerous times on Xposé giving my behind the scenes tips. I live in Dublin with my fiancé and my brand new baby daughter. I’m looking forward to sharing all my tips and tricks of the trade with you all and as a new mum and bride to be I will share any tips related to this along the way too! I’m Ashley Moran Nunn. I’ll be honest – I’ve had a chequered past. I’m a Dubliner with a Kilkenny-based heart and I make a living as a hired gun. More simply put I work as a freelance event manager, marketing professional and sometime Medieval History tour guide. I hope I inspire your inner dirty kitchen goddess to shine!

My partner and I recently moved into our first home, an apartment on the north side of Madrid. I love interior design and am enjoying making our new house a cosy home. Hi I’m Louise Sharkey from Vita-Nutrition. I’m a mom to four, Lauren, Paul, Hannah and James all ranging from 13-7 years. After leaving school I studied Biochemistry as my primary degree. I have always been interested in life sciences and so followed a business path into pharmaceutical medicine for over 10 years. While taking time out to be at home with my children, I reevaluated where my true passion lies. After many life experiences that I won’t bore you with now, I decided there has to be more to just treating symptoms of disease through pharmaceuticals. Hence, my journey into nutritional medicine. Over the past three years I have trained as a Nutritional therapist and setup my own practice called Vita-Nutrition, nutrition for life. I believe we are what we eat, and where I have real respect for modern medicine I believe one is not exclusive to the other and that both are important for optimal health. At Vita-Nutrition we look at nutrition for life and not just a sort term solution or a quick fix to weight loss or health issues.
